Manila, Philippines, April 25, 2024: The Philippine Sports Commission hosted a Safe Sport Workshop which served as a consultation platform among all National Sports Associations in establishing a mechanism for sports venues free from abuse and harassment.
Chairman Richard Bachmann and Comm. Olivia “Bong” Coo, in charge of coaches and athletes' welfare, graced the programme held at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila.
“The PSC recognises the urgent need to educate the sports community on jumpstarting a concrete safeguarding policy across all NSAs," Coo stated at the workshop, which was held last weekend.
