Kathmandu, Nepal, April 23, 2024: The President of the Nepal Olympic Committee, Jeevan Ram Shrestha, NOC Vice President and Executive Director Chaturananda Rajvaidya and NOC Secretary General Nilendra Raj Shrestha took part in farewell ceremonies for wushu athletes and a table tennis coach last week.
On Friday, April 19, the senior NOC officials bid farewell to Olympic Solidarity coaching recipient Ms. Nabita Shrestha from the Nepal Table Tennis Association who was leaving for Lausanne, Switzerland to participate in the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Programme.
Ms. Shrestha is completing her ICECP Module 5 and will also receive a diploma in high performance coaching.
The day previously, NOC President Shrestha and Vice President Chaturananda Rajvaidya took part in a farewell ceremony for the Nepal wushu team which was leaving for Jiangsu, China to compete in an International Wushu Invitational tournament which got underway on Sunday, April 21.
