Harbin, China, April 3, 2024: The organising committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China has launched the official website.
The website can be located at https://www.harbin2025.com and the content is in both Chinese and English.
The official slogan “Dream of Winter, Love among Asia” features prominently, as do the cute tiger cub mascots Binbin and Nini and the striking emblem design – a fusion of a short track speed skater, a lilac flower and dancing ribbons.
The 9th Asian Winter Games will run from February 7-14, 2025 in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province. The ice events will be held in Harbin, using venues from Harbin’s hosting of the 3rd Asian Winter Games in 1996, and the snow events will be at Yabuli, 193km from Harbin.
The official website also focuses on the ice and snow culture of Harbin, especially the world-famous Harbin Ice and Snow World art park, which was launched in 1999 and has welcomed almost 30 million visitors.
The website will keep Asia's National Olympic Committees and winter sports fans up to date with all the news and developments through to the opening ceremony in just 309 days' time.
