Tashkent, Uzbekistan, March 28, 2024: The President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, Nejmeddin Bilal Erdogan, visited the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan on March 22.
He was welcomed by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Adham Ikramov, and senior NOC officials.
Discussions centred on further strengthening friendly relationships and the development of national and ethnic sports.
Erdogan also praised the International Ethnosport Festival organised at a high level by Khiva, in the Khorazm Region of Uzbekistan, last September.
Minister of Sports Ikramov briefed the visiting guest on the progress and development of sports in Uzbekistan while NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov made a presentation on the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Tashkent and the Olympic town being built for it.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary General Kasimov presented Erdogan with a NOC commemorative badge.
