Tashkent, Uzbekistan, March 19, 2024: Uzbekistan will defend its Asian crown at the IIHF 2024 Ice Hockey U18 Asian Championship in Tashkent next month.
The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan posted on its social network that the national Under-18 team left on Sunday, March 17 for Kazan, Russia to undergo a 10-day training camp.
“Our young hockey players are preparing pretty hard for this continental championship. During the 10-day training camp in Kazan, they will work on improving their technical and tactical skills,” the Uzbek NOC posted.
“Let us remind you that in this age category the Uzbek national team is the current Asian champion,” the NOC added.
The tournament from April 23-30 will be held at the Humo Arena in the capital Tashkent, and the Ice Rink arena in Samarkand.
