Kuwait City, Kuwait, February 29, 2024: The Olympic Council of Asia has announced that this year’s Olympic Solidarity/OCA Regional Forums will take place in Malaysia and Bahrain in May.
The forum for National Olympic Committees from Southeast Asia and East Asia will be held in Kuala Lumpur on May 3-4, and the forum for NOCs from West Asia, Central Asia and South Asia will be in Bahrain on May 6-7.
Each NOC can send two delegates: the Chef de Mission for the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Bangkok and Chonburi in November, and the Secretary General or staff member responsible for IOC/OCA activities such as the Paris Olympics, the 6th AIMAG and the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China in February 2025.
The main items on the agenda for both forums are the 6th AIMAG in Thailand this November, the 9th AWG in Harbin and updates from the IOC and Paris Olympic Games.
