Andrew Chan succeeds Charles Lo as Macau, China NOC President

Macau, China, February 23, 2024: The Sports and Olympic Committee of Macau, China has announced that Mr. Andrew Chan Chak Mo has succeeded the late Mr. Charles Lo as President.

Andrew Chan was Secretary General under the previous President Mr. Lo, who passed away last October. Mr. Lo was also Chair of the OCA Media Committee for many years.

The new Secretary General is Mr. Carson Ma Chi Seng.

The Sports and Olympic Committee of Macau, China held elections on January 3 to undergo the leadership transition for the term 2024-2028.

“We are privileged to follow in the footsteps of the late Mr. Charles Lo, whose unwavering commitment to the Olympic Movement serves as a guiding beacon for our future endeavors,” the new President, Mr. Chan, said in a letter to the OCA Acting President, Raja Randhir Singh, dated February 23.
