Manama, Bahrain, February 20, 2024: The Bahrain Olympic Committee participated in the "Let’s Walk" initiative launched by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, February 18.
BOC staff took part in the event in the presence of Dr. John Wickley Al-Sharbatli, Director of the Health Promotion Administration of the Ministry of Health, and other members of various national sports federations as well as the public.
The 30-minute walk began at Al-Sif Park near the BOC Headquarters and along the Abu Sobh Coastal walkway. The initiative continued on Monday, February 19 in three public walks in various parts of the city and will continue until February 29.
The "Let’s Walk" initiative is part of the Ministry of Health’s effort to encourage the community to walk, exercise and be involved in physical activity so as to maintain the general health of citizens and residents.
