Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, February 21, 2020: The Malaysian Golf Association will be organising its flagship event, the Malaysia Open, from March 5-8 at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club in Shah Alam.
The Malaysia Open is making its return to the Asian Tour Schedule this year after a four-year absence and will be sanctioned by the Asian Tour in partnership with the Japan Golf Tour Organisation. The Malaysia Open will be offering a lucrative prize purse of USD 1.0 million (approximately RM 4.1 million).
The MGA announced the Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Bandar Malaysia) as the title sponsor of the Malaysia Open on Wednesday, February 19.
The tournament is officially named the Bandar Malaysia Open 2020. The announcement was witnessed by Dato’ Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia.
The OCM wishes the Bandar Malaysia Open 2020 a resounding success.
