Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 1, 2024: Top officials of the United Arab Emirates National Olympic welcomed the President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee, HE Fidel Ylli, at the UAE NOC Headquarters in Dubai on Monday, January 29.
The visiting NOC President was met by members of the Board of Directors of the UAE NOC, HE Dr. Muhammad Al-Murr, HE Ahmed Abdul Malik, HE Qais Al-Dhali, HE Noura Al-Jasmi and HE Abdulaziz Al-Salman.
Discussions revolved around ways to enhance bilateral sports cooperation between Albania and the UAE in a way that contributes to advancing the Olympic Movement and benefits both countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, the UAE NOC’s Board of Directors conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the President of the UAE NOC.
The visiting guest was also given a briefing on the 1st Gulf Youth Games which will be hosted by the UAE in April with the participation of 2,000 male and female athletes from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
