WADA removes OCA from non-compliant list

Kuwait City, Kuwait, January 31, 2024: The World Anti-Doping Agency has announced that the Olympic Council of Asia has been removed from the non-compliant signatories with immediate effect. 

In a letter to OCA Acting President Raja Randhir Singh dated January 30, WADA Director General Olivier Niggli writes: “Following the recent completion of the reinstatement conditions by the OCA, we are pleased to inform you that, by recommendation of the independent Compliance Review Committee, the Executive Committee has determined that the OCA should be removed from the list of non-compliant Signatories with immediate effect. We look forward to continuing working with you to protect clean sport.”

The WADA Executive Committee declared the OCA non-compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code on 8 December 2023.
