BOC Secretary General Al-Kooheji belives Paris 2024 will be huge success

Manama, Bahrain, January 18, 2024: Bahrain Olympic Committee Secretary General Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji has expressed his great confidence in the ability of France to organise the Paris 2024 Olympics with distinction and success.

 

This came when the BOC Secretary General received HE the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Eric Giraud, and a number of officials of the embassy at the BOC headquarters on Monday, January 15.

 

Secretary General Al-Kooheji, welcoming the French Ambassador, expressed his pride in the distinguished fraternal relationship and the level of cooperation between the Kingdom and France in various fields.

 

Al-Kooheji along with Ambassador Giraud reviewed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the sports field and was briefed on the latest preparations being made by France to host the Paris 2024 Olympics.

 

The BOC Secretary General stressed the importance of coordination and joint cooperation with the aim of making Bahrain’s participation in the Olympics a success while the Ambassador confirmed all the necessary facilities will be provided to the Bahrain team.

 

Al-Kooheji concluded by wishing France the very best in hosting this big sporting event. 

 

Also present at the meeting were Ms. Fajr Jassim, member of the Board of Directors of the BOC and Director of the Department of Arab and International Affairs, and Maden Al-Wanas, Director of the Technical Affairs Department.
