Manila, Philippines, January 4, 2024: Paris Olympics-bound boxer Eumir Marcial of the Philippines made a courtesy call to the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Commissioner Matthew "Fritz" Gaston.

Marcial, 28, discussed his preparations for the Paris Olympic Games as he attempts to upgrade his bronze medal from the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.

Together with Marcial on the visit to the PSC was Mr. Marcus Manalo, secretary-general of the Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines (ABAP).

Marcial earned his ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympics after knocking down Ahmad Ghousoon of Syria in the semifinals of the men's 80kg class during the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. He eventually won the silver medal.
