Dushanbe, Tajikistan, December 30, 2023: The President of the Republic of Tajikistan and President of the National Olympic Committee, the Hon. Emomali Rahmon, visited the Safed Dara ski and tourist complex on December 29.
The President, who was accompanied by Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, cut the ribbon to open the second phase of the Safed Dara resort.
Tajikistan is making a big effort to promote sports tourism, and the complex will attract domestic and foreign tourists to experience winter sports.
The President visited a ski lodge and expressed his satisfaction with the high quality of the work. He also chatted with winter sports enthusiasts and led by example on his skis and in a snow mobile.
