Amman, Jordan, December 24, 2023: The national boxing team of Jordan is holding a joint training camp with national boxers from Iraq and Morocco in preparation for Paris 2024 Olympic qualifiers next year.

The joint training camp began on Tuesday, December 19, at the Olympic preparation centre in Amman and will continue until the end of this month.

Two qualifying competitions for Paris 2024 will be held in Italy and Thailand in February and May, respectively, and this gives all those boxers who have still to qualify a final chance of reaching the Olympics.

The Jordanian boxers will take part in friendly bouts with their counterparts from Iraq and Morocco and the training camp will also include technical instructions conducted by the staff from all three nations.

Jordan fielded five male boxers in different classes at Tokyo 2020 but none advanced past the quarterfinals.
