Doha, Qatar, December 12, 2023: The Qatar Olympic Committee held its annual ‘Fitness and Health’ event at the Expo Cultural Zone in Badaa Park on Saturday, December 9.
The programme was aimed at raising awareness on the importance of sports, physical fitness, exercise and a healthy lifestyle among members of the community.
The event was attended by a large number of young boys and girls who participated in a number of sports including athletic races, gymnastics and karate.
The Qatar Olympic Committee has taken an active interest in battling child obesity and has launched a 'Sport For Life' initiative to encourage fitness among youth.
