Vientiane, Laos, December 10, 2023: The National Olympic Committee of Laos held an Olympic Day event to coincide with the 45th anniversary of the NOC.
The celebration took place at Khong District in south-western Champasak Province on December 8 and involved a group walk and celebratory speeches by NOC leaders.
The NOC of Laos was established in 1978 with seven national federations - athletics, basketball, boxing, football, shooting, table tennis and volleyball. It was recognised by the IOC in 1979.
