Male, Maldives, November 29, 2023: Maldives Olympic Committee Vice President Mr. Ahmed Ismail and Secretary General Mr. Thamooh Ahmed Saeed had the privilege of meeting with the recently appointed Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, Honorable Abdulla Rafiu.
The meeting was also attended by Mohamed Riyaz, Abdul Razak Ibrahim and Director General Ali Zaki.
“Firstly, Maldives Olympic Committee extends its sincere congratulations to Minister Rafiu on his esteemed appointment as the Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation,” the MOC said in a statement.
The meeting discussed future plans, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to enhance the landscape of sports in Maldives.
“The MOC is committed to working together with the Ministry to contribute to the advancement of sports. Recognizing the significance of unity in achieving common goals, both parties pledged to collaborate closely, fostering a synergy that will undoubtedly contribute to the overall betterment of sports.
