OCA announces Coordination Committee for Tashkent AYG 2025

Kuwait City, Kuwait, November 13, 2023: The Olympic Council of Asia has formed a Coordination Committee to oversee the Asian Youth Games to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2025.

The eight-member OCA Coordination Committee for the Tashkent AYG 2025 will be chaired by Mr. Timothy Fok, OCA Vice President and President of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.

The other seven members are the yet-to-be appointed Chair of the OCA Athletes’ Committee; Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha, President, NOC Nepal; Mr. Abdulloev Muhamadsho, Secretary General, NOC Tajikistan; Mr. Shahid Reza, Secretary General, NOC Bangladesh; Mr. Ata Akmammedov, Secretary General, NOC Turkmenistan; Mr. Faris Mohammed Al Mutawa, Secretary General, NOC United Arab Emirates; and Mr. Khalid Al Mahmood, Secretary General, NOC Pakistan.

The OCA Coordination Committee for the Tashkent AYG 2025 will be assisted by delegates from the OCA headquarters.
