Baghdad, Iraq, October 29, 2023: The President of the Iraq National Olympic Committee, Raad Hammoudi, attended the South Korean Ambassador Cup Taekwondo Championship in Baghdad on Saturday, October 28.
More than 700 athletes, elite as well as grassroots, from 105 clubs from the capital and all governorates of Iraq participated in the championship.
Also in attendance was the Minister of Youth and Sports Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, the second Vice President of the Iraq NOC Samir Al-Mousawi and the Korean ambassador to Iraq Choi Sung Soo.
NOC President Hammoudi took part in the prize presentation for winners at the end of the competition.
