Lausanne, Switzerland, February 10, 2020: The President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, met a delegation from Iraq at the IOC HQ in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The delegation from Iraq was led by the NOC President, Raad Hammoodi Al-Dulaimi, and included parliamentarians, among them the Chair of the Youth and Sport Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, Abbas Oleiwi Kadhim.
The two parties discussed various topics linked to the situation of sport in Iraq, the new sports law in Iraq and preparations for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
The IOC delegation included Olympic Solidarity representatives to discuss the various projects and initiatives available to the NOC.
