One Asia celebration will debut ‘Sending all the Love’ theme song

Hangzhou, China, September 24, 2023: Asia is by far the largest and most diverse continent on earth with 60 per cent of the world’s population.

To bring together 5 billion people from five regions who speak 2,300 different languages and play more than 7,000 different musical instruments in a song is nearly impossible.

The 110th anniversary celebration of the Asian Games in Hangzhou on Sunday, September 24 turns out to be the perfect platform to bring Asia’s best talents from all five regions together to perform the theme song of the event titled “One Asia”.

The song was crafted in Ubud-Bali, Indonesia over seven days and has turned into an Asian masterpiece – an anthem that represents the continent’s vast land, talents and cultures.

Featuring only live traditional instruments from Asia - Oud from Kuwait, Erhu from China, Zybzgy from Kazakhstan, Tabla from India and Tifa and Totobuang from Indonesia - the song also features remarkable vocal performances by Jannine Weigel from Thailand, Hiroaki Kato from Japan and Talia Lahoud from Lebanon.

JFlow, Asia’s own record producer, is at the helm of production with Right Now Music Asia and is the song writer of Sending All the Love. There are eight languages featured in the song and they are beautifully sewn together to send love from Asia to the world.

The song will be historically performed live for the first time during the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, on a special celebration night commemorating the 110th anniversary of the continent’s first international multi-sport event, the Far Eastern Championship Games, in Manila in 1913.
