Beijing, China, August 3, 2023: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) and the Chinese Sports Information Centre (CSIC) in Beijing on August 3, 2023. The AESF was represented by Mr. Sebastian Lau, the Director General, and CSIC was represented by Ms. Zhang Yuping, the Deputy Director.
The collaboration between the two organisations will focus on four areas of cooperation in preparation for the upcoming 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. These areas comprise the following:
1. Development of standard Esports competition Regulations and Guidelines for the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games
2. Establishment of Task Force with Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) and Host Broadcasters (HB)
3. The National Technical Officer Workshop and Test Event
4. Esports Development and Education in China PR
The signing of the MoU marks a significant step in fostering close collaboration and cooperation between the two organisations.
