Amman, Jordan, July 30, 2023: The Jordan Olympic Committee has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Zain Jordan for the eighth successive year.
The gold sponsorship from the leading mobile telecommunication company provides support for Jordan’s national athletes and helps them prepare for international competitions.
The agreement was signed last Tuesday, July 25, at the headquarters of Zain Jordan between JOC Secretary General Rana Nazmi Al-Saeed and Zain Jordan CEO Fahad Al-Jassim.
Under this agreement, Zain Jordan will provide financial support to the JOC, in addition to 15 scholarships for athletes benefiting from JOC programmes and the Olympic Preparation Programme. This will include cooperation between both parties in the areas of youth and women empowerment as well as persons with disabilities.
JOC Secretary General Ms. Rana Al-Saeed emphasised the importance of the partnership, and indicated the eight-year collaboration reflected Zain Jordan’s dedication to supporting Jordan sports and its extensive development efforts.
Zain Jordan said it was keen to renew the agreement in the greater interest of contributing to the promotion of young Jordanians in sport by providing them with the necessary support to develop their skills.
