Hong Kong, China, July 25, 2023: The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China held a flag presentation ceremony for delegations attending two major multi-sport games on Tuesday, July 25.
The flag presentation ceremony was also aimed at strengthening team harmony and boosting the spirits of the athletes before they embark on their missions, while encouraging the support of the local people.
Hong Kong, China will send its largest ever delegation of 930 athletes and officials from 41 sports federations to the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8.
Before the Asian Games comes the East Asia Youth Games in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from August 16-23, and Hong Kong, China will send a delegation of more than 200 to compete in nine of the 11 sports. The athletes are aged between 15 and 18.
