Baghdad, Iraq, July 18, 2023: The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Iraq, Haitham Abdul Hameed, welcomed the Director of Physical Training and Army Games in the Ministry of Defence, Major General Ammar Jabbar Khadir, at the NOC Headquarters on Monday, July 17.
Major General Khadir briefed the NOC on the role played by the Directorate of Physical Training and Army Games, and its efforts to have an impact on the country’s sporting achievements, in addition to its fundamental role in raising the fitness and physical abilities of the Iraqi Army.
On his part, Secretary General Haitham informed his visitors about the need to increase cooperation with the Directorate of Physical Training and Army Games so as to strengthen the sports scene in the country.
