Ticket sales underway for Hangzhou Asian Games

Hangzhou, China, July 17, 2023: The Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) has published more information on ticket sales for the 19th Asiad from September 23 to October 8, 2023.

A total of 3 million tickets will be available for the 600 sessions of 40 sports, 61 disciplines and 483 events taking place in 54 competition venues across six cities: Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing and Jinhua. 

The ticket sales are divided into two phases: the registration and pre-sale phase (July 8 to August 6) and the real-time sales phase (August 14 to October 8).

For example, the first batch of tickets for 12 events sold out on July 8 during the pre-sale phase. On July 14, the second batch of nearly 190,000 tickets for four sports went on sale. The tickets for ju-jitsu and skateboarding sold out at 12:30 and the tickets for athletics and dragon boat at 14:00.

Each valid identification document allows the purchase of only one ticket for the same sports event. For popular events, a maximum of four tickets per order can be purchased, while for other events, a maximum of six tickets per order is allowed.

Domestic individuals can purchase tickets online through the official ticketing website of the Hangzhou Asian Games. Starting from August, tickets can also be purchased offline through ticket booths at the Asian Games venues. 

After entering China, international visitors can purchase tickets using the same methods as domestic individuals. In countries and regions authorised by the National Olympic Committees (NOCs), the public can purchase tickets through designated ticketing agencies.

Popular events include Athletics, Swimming, Artistic Swimming, Diving, Badminton, Basketball, 3x3 Basketball, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Breaking, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Tennis, Football, Esports, Artistic Gymnastics, Soft Tennis, and Equestrian.

For the Hangzhou Asian Games, spectators shall present valid identification documents and tickets for entry. Failure to provide correct identification card numbers or document types may result in denial of entry.
