Dili, Timor-Leste, June 30, 2023: The 29th leg of the Hangzhou Asian Games Fun Run around the continent will take place in Dili, capital of Timor-Leste, on Saturday, July 1.
The National Olympic Committee of Timor-Leste, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia held a joint press conference at the NOC HQ on Friday, June 30, to promote the fun run.
The NOC was represented by Mateus da Cruz de Carvalho, Vice President; Laurentino Guterres, Secretary General; and Vicente Carvalho da Silva, Vice President.
HAGOC was represented by Mr Tao Zili, Deputy Director of the Anti-Doping Department.
During the conference, Mr. Tao Zili provided updates on the preparations for the Hangzhou Asian Games, which will take place from September 23 to October 8 with 40 sports, 61 disciplines and 483 events.
Meanwhile, the OCA team expressed their enthusiasm for the 29th edition of the Hangzhou Asian Games Fun Run taking place in Timor-Leste.
The fun run venue on Saturday is GMT - Gedung Matahari Terbit - and more than 1,000 participants from different schools will take part. There will be a 5km run, followed by a quiz competition.
