Islamabad, Pakistan, June 29, 2023: The Pakistan Olympic Association celebrated Olympic Day 2023 with a colourful event held at Rawal Lake in Islamabad as well as a tree-planting ceremony in Lahore last Friday, June 23.
Olympians Sadaf Siddiqui and Ahmad Ali Khan, Islamabad Olympic Association interim committee secretary and President of Pakistan Rowing Federation Rizwan ul Haq, national athletes, children and the public participated in the event in Islamabad.
A fun run was held for children and a specially prepared cake with the logo of the Olympic rings was cut.
Meanwhile in Lahore, the Pakistan Olympic Association and Lahore College for Women University joined hands to celebrate Olympic Day by planting trees symbolising a commitment to a greener future.
POA Secretary General Muhammad Khalid Mahmood participated in this event.
