Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, June 27, 2023: Vietnam Olympic Committee’s Olympic Day celebrations included a roller sports championship involving over 280 athletes.
The national age group championship was held over two days, on June 25-26, at Gia Dinh Stadium in Binh Thanh district of Ho Chi Minh City.
Participants ranged from five years old to professional athletes and came from several cities and provinces including Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Binh, Hanoi, Quy Nhon, Phan Thiet, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Lam Dong, Dong Thap and Da Nang.
The Vietnam Olympic Committee said the roller sports championship celebrated the 129th anniversary of the founding of the International Olympic Committee on June 23, 1894 in Paris.
