Cao Bang, Vietnam, June 12, 2023: The Vietnam Olympic Committee conducted a national training course on drowning prevention in Cao Bang province.
The five-day course was comprised of practical and theoretical sessions on a wide range of topics including skills to prevent drowning, rescue technique and administering first aid.
They were also taught a variety of swimming skills such as diving and floating on the back to make the students feel more confident and comfortable in the water and to reduce the danger of panic in difficult situations.
The course proved to be a great benefit for the instructors and students alike, and all the students who completed the programme received a certificate from the International Olympic Committee.
