Manama, Bahrain, May 30, 2023: The Bahrain Olympic Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Bahrain National Sports Associations will hold the third edition of the Bahrain Baby Olympics from June 1-4.
Tiny tots, toddlers and preschoolers are set to compete in a fun four-day sporting festival whose aim is to motivate youngsters to stay active and to promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
The Bahrain Olympic Committee last week signed an agreement with the Al-Rashid Group (Mothercare-Shoemart) who will be the sponsors of the Bahrain mini-Olympics.
The agreement was signed between BOC Secretary General HE Faris Al-Kooheji and Regional President of Al-Rashid Group, Mr. Sandeep Narain.
Gymnastics will be one of the main sporting activities for those aged four to five years. Other activities will include swimming, basketball, football and athletics.
