Tashkent, Uzbekistan, April 24, 2023: The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan and the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan organised a technical course for athletics coaches under the framework of the IOC Olympic Solidarity programme.
NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov, Secretary General of the Athletics Federation Kamoliddin Ruzimukhamedov and other officials took part in the closing ceremony held at the NOC Headquarters in Tashkent last Thursday, April 20.
Secretary General Kasimov stressed on the significance of the technical course and congratulated all participants who successfully completed the course. He also underscored the importance of passing on the knowledge to the athletes and was confident that it would bring positive results through medals at international competitions.
The course was held at the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan from April 10-20 and was conducted by World Athletics representative Evgeny Shumarin. A total of 24 coaches from different regions of the Republic took part in the course.
