Kickboxing black belt promotion proves a big hit in Chinese Taipei

Taipei, April 23, 2023: The Chinese Taipei Kickboxing Association conducted a black belt promotion exam at the New Taipei City Government Police Station Training Centre last week.

Over 300 participants aged from nine to 61 and representing coaches, officials and athletes from various kickboxing gyms took part in the event.

The President of the Asian Kickboxing Confederation, Nasser Nassiri, expressed his strong support for the Chinese Taipei Kickboxing Association and encouraged all participants to continue contributing to the development of the sport.

The day following the exam, President Nassiri, executive board members and officials from the Chinese Taipei Kickboxing Association visited Kaohsiung city and toured a number of kickboxing gyms and the Pingtung County Laiyi Senior High School.

At an official dinner which followed, President Nassiri confirmed that the Asian Kickboxing Confederation would continue to support the development of the sport in Taipei.
