Jerusalem, Palestine, April 20, 2023: Palestine Olympic Committee reports that the national Muay Thai athletes are undergoing a series of tests ahead of the world championships in Bangkok.
The tests and sessions are taking place at the Olympic Medical Centre under two specialists, Reem Mashraqa and Diala Shaheen.
As well as undergoing a variety of tests, the athletes also received advice on nutrition before, during and after competition, as well as recommendations on how to maintain weight necessary for the particular category.
The instructors also gave advice on how to avoid stress and fatigue during such an important event as the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) 2023 world championships, which will take place in the Thai capital from May 3-13.
