Bhutan Olympic Committee holds 'gymnastics for all' programme

Thimphu, Bhutan, April 15, 2023: The Bhutan Olympic Committee, in collaboration with the Japan Gymnastics Association, held a "Gymnastics for All" programme at the Pelkhil School Dojo in Thimphu.

The event, which began on Friday, April 14 and will run until Sunday, was staged not for competition but to highlight the benefits of gymnastics for health purposes for both children and the elderly.

The main theme of the three-day programme is ‘Everyone, anywhere, feel free, have fun and easy exercise.’

The Gymnastics for All programme was led by Professor Araki Tatsuo, Vice President of the Japan Gymnastics Association. To date, Professor Araki has held international conferences and workshops in 75 countries.

On the final day, Sunday, April 16, the programme has invited school sports instructors, coaches and students.
