Kathmandu, Nepal, April 15, 2023: Two senior officials of the Nepal Olympic Committee have been bestowed the Jana Sewa Shree Medal by the President of Nepal, Ram Chandra Poudel, on Friday, April 14.
Nilendra Raj Shrestha, Secretary General of the Nepal Olympic Committee, and Sujan Lal Shrestha, NOC Executive Secretary, were both conferred with the Jana Sewa Shree Medal in recognition of their contributions to the country.
The NOC officials were awarded the medal for their work in making the 13th South Asian Games in Kathmandu and Pokhara in December 2019 an outstanding success.
President Ram Chandra Poudel conferred medals, awards, decorations and honours on a wide cross-section of the community who had distinguished themselves and brought honour to the country.
