Dushanbe, Tajikistan, April 14, 2023: The National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan held the first stage of the “Asian Games for All” promotional campaign on Friday, April 14 – the children’s art competition.
More than 60 students took part in the drawing/painting contest at the Centre for Children and Adolescents in Dushanbe and could choose from a wide variety of topics.
These included the history of the Asian Games, champions of the Asian Games, the different kinds of sports featured in the Asian Games, the history of sport in Tajikistan, the nation’s Olympic heroes, the distinctive logos of the Asian Games and the symbols of the 19th Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8, 2023.
The Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Vice Presidents, General Director and Secretary General of the NOC, the leadership of the executive body of the state in Dushanbe city, the leadership of the Head of Education of Dushanbe city and other high-ranking guests attended the event and observed the children’s art work.
The Olympic Council of Asia is promoting the 19th Asian Games through the “Asian Games for All” campaign. The other two elements are the Asian Games Fun Run and Asian Games Youth Reporter Project.
Tajikistan NOC will host the youth reporter project on Tuesday, April 18 and the fun run on Wednesday, April 19.
