Singapore NOC visits Hangzhou for Asian Games preview

Hangzhou, China, April 6, 2023: The Singapore National Olympic Council is the latest NOC to take advantage of the benefits of an official visit to Hangzhou ahead of the 19th Asian Games.

A Singapore NOC delegation led by Antony Lee, Projects Director, and Chong Fui Kim, Head of Games Management and Marketing, is visiting Hangzhou from April 4 to 6. 

The itinerary includes visits to the Athletes Village of the Asian Games Village, Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium and five other venues, before visiting Ningbo to inspect Ningbo Athletes Sub-village and Ningbo Xiangshan Sailing Centre.

The Asian Games Village incorporates the Athletes Village, Media Village and Technical Officials Village and will have a capacity of around 20,000.

Hangzhou Asian Games organising committee HAGOC offered National Olympic Committees from around the continent the opportunity to visit the host city from February 15 to April 10.

The 19th Asian Games will run from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, and five co-host cities, with 40 sports, 61 disciplines and 482 events.
