Hangzhou, China, March 26, 2023: The Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) has written to Asia’s 45 National Olympic Committees regarding the media accreditation deadline for the 19th Asian Games.

In a circular dated March 21, the HAGOC Press Operations Team informs all NOCs and press attaches that the deadline for media accreditation is Saturday, May 20.

The 45 NOCs in the OCA are responsible for submitting the names of the media in their own country/region, and HAGOC requests the NOCs to assist their local media in this valuable part of the Asian Games accreditation process.

HAGOC points out that all the data saved and submitted for the previous media accreditation deadline – before the 19th Asian Games was postponed from September 10-25, 2022 to September 23-October 8, 2023 – will still be eligible; however, the data can be amended or names can be deleted.

Any NOCs requiring clarification are asked to contact Mr Liu Zihe of the HAGOC Press Operations Team at: pressacr@hangzhou2022.cn.

The Media Village for the 19th Asian Games is located in the main Asian Games Village, along with the Athletes’ Village and Technical Officials Village, and has a capacity of 5,000.

The Main Media Centre will occupy four exhibition halls of the Hangzhou International Expo Centre. The MMC includes the Main Press Centre and International Broadcast Centre.
