Lausanne, Switzerland, January 20, 2020: A delegation from the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan, led by Vice President Dayanch Gulgeldiev, met with ANOC Acting President Robin Mitchell and ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg during a visit to the ANOC headquarters on January 16.
During the meeting the group discussed the success of the ANOC World Beach Games in Doha last October and the upcoming ANOC General Assembly in Seoul as well as the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan’s future activities, their preparations and hopes for Tokyo 2020 and their potential future involvement in ANOC activities.
Turkmenistan NOC hosted the Olympic Council of Asia’s 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in the capital Ashgabat in 2017.
