Yangon, Myanmar, March 10, 2023: The Myanmar leg of the Hangzhou Asian Games Fun Run attracted 300 participants to the Institute of Sports and Physical Education in Tarmwe Township of Yangon on Friday morning.
The 15th edition of the Asian Games Fun Run to promote Hangzhou 2022 was opened by Myo Hlaing, Secretary General of Myanmar Olympic Committee and Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The fun run comprised three categories: boys & girls aged 13 and over, 1.4km; boys & girls under 12, 400m; special athletes, 400m.
The other VIP guests were: Jeans Zhou Jian, Director of OCA Media & Broadcasting; Ding Jiong, Director of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee Games Services Department; Tun Myint Oo, Director General of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sports and Physical Education Department; Khun Jar Aung, Joint Secretary General of Myanmar NOC; and Pang Feng, Chinese Embassy, Culture Consular.
