Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee visits Hangzhou for Asian Games meetings

Hangzhou, China, March 10, 2023: A delegation from the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee is visiting Hangzhou as part of their preparations for the 19th Asian Games this September.

The Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) is offering the OCA’s 45 National Olympic Committees the chance to visit the next Asian Games host city and hold meetings, visit stadiums and other infrastructure.

There is a two-month window from February 15 to April 10 for NOCs to visit Hangzhou, and the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee is taking full advantage of the opportunity to see the preparations close-up for the Asian Games.

The Saudi delegation was led by Marcelo Braga, Director, Games Department of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The visit began on Tuesday, March 7 and they were shown around various stadiums and held meetings in HAGOC HQ.

The 19th Asian Games will take place from September 23 to October 8, and the all-important Chefs de Mission Seminar for team leaders from the 45 NOCs is scheduled for April 25-26.
