Lahore, Pakistan, March 5, 2023: The Pakistan Olympic Association in conjunction with the Olympic Council of Asia held a one-day Educational Workshop for Top Athletes at Olympic House on Saturday, March 4.
POA Secretary General Muhammad Khalid Mahmood presided over the seminar which was attended by athletes from all over Pakistan, and included Muhammad Inam Butt, Chairman POA Athletes’ Commission.
Pakistan’s top shooter Ghulam Mustafa Bashir, who has already secured a berth at the Paris 2024 Olympics in the 25 metre rapid-fire pistol event, and Olympian badminton player Mahoor Shahzad were among the many leading athletes to turn up for the workshop.
The workshop dealt with topics like doping control, sports psychology, sports nutrition and the prevention of injuries, manipulation in sports and awareness, and protection against abuse and harassment in sports.
