*the construction of competition venues, training venues, the main Asian Games Village and five sub-villages;

*event preparations, with more than 1,300 international technical officials appointed and 22 test events already held;

*the recruitment of staff to form 41 competition venue teams, 30 non-competition venue teams and 21 teams for independent training venues, plus the ongoing recruitment of 38,000 volunteers;

*Asian Games services, with six OCA family hotels and 78 official hotels designated, and a 25,000 sq m logistics centre already in operation; and

*the continuation of promotional activities including Asian Games songs and the development and production of Asian Games-themed documentaries and TV series.

“It gives us great pleasure to say that the Fun Run, the Asian Games Young Reporter programme, the Asian Games  children’s art competition, as well as other events, are being held in partnership with the OCA. Excitement for the upcoming Asian Games continues to build in China and Asia as a whole,” Du Zuofeng said.
