Jakarta, Indonesia, February 21, 2023: Indonesia’s Chef de Mission for the upcoming SEA Games in Cambodia, Lexyndo Hakim, believes coordination, cooperation and commitment will be key to the success of the delegation.
The 32nd SEA Games will take place in Phnom Penh and four co-host provinces from May 5-17 and Indonesia, as ever, will field a big team to chase gold on many fronts.
Lexyndo has been appointed CDM by Indonesian Olympic Committee President Raja Sapta Oktohari and said he would work to provide the best conditions for his athletes in Cambodia.
"We have held internal meetings to strengthen the team and communicate with all relevant parties for the SEA Games Cambodia,” the CDM said.
“We hope that, with synergy and collaboration between stakeholders, we will be able to achieve the best results for Indonesia. In the near future we will visit the National Training Center to see their preparations.”
Lexyndo said he was honored to be entrusted with leading the Indonesian contingent at the SEA Games in Cambodia.
"We are ready to work and give the best for Indonesia," he said. "I will coordinate, communicate, pay attention and ensure the comfort and focus of the athletes only to compete.”
The 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia will feature 36 sports, 47 disciplines and 581 events.
