Kathmandu, Nepal, February 17, 2023: Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) organised the Asian Games Fun Run on Friday in Patan.
The event took place almost seven months ahead of the Games set to be held in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8.
According to NOC, athletes, coaches and officials of the NOC and Ministry of Youth and Sports participated in the run organised to raise awareness about the 19th Asian Games.
Wang Minghua, the deputy director of ceremonies and events department, said that Hangzhou was almost ready to host the event that was postponed by a year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The run started from Patan Durbar Square and finished at the same point.
