Hong Kong, China, February 14, 2023: The Hong Kong, China Rowing Association have produced their own “Row to Asian Games” campaign in the build-up to Hangzhou.
The rowing association continued their preparations for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China this September by holding a send-off dinner and flag presentation ceremony for the national squad on Monday, February 13.
“Our squad are preparing for the coming 2023 Australian Rowing Championships from March 27 – April 2 at Perth and the highlight event - the Asian Games - this year,” the association said in a Facebook post dated February 14.
The 19th Asian Games will run from September 23 to October 8 with 40 sports, 61 disciplines and 482 events.
The rowing competition will take place at Fuyang Water Sports Centre from September 20-25. There will be three days of preliminary rounds from September 20-22 before a break for the Asian Games opening ceremony on September 23.
Action will resume with seven medals on each of the last two days – September 24 and 25.
