Baghdad, Iraq, February 10, 2023: The National Olympic Committee of Iraq is conducting a three-day course on administration and finance.
The course opened in Sulaymaniyah city in Iraqi Kurdistan on Thursday and will run until Saturday, said the Secretary General of Iraq NOC, Haitham Abdul-Hameed.
Participants include employees of national sports associations, government institutions and Olympic Committee staff.
Abdul-Hameed stated that the course would be attended by professors and academics with experience in administrative and financial matters and also with experience in national sporting institutions.
Iraq NOC conducted six similar courses last year aimed at enhancing the operations and management of the Olympic sports movement.
The opening session was attended by several dignitaries from the executive office of the NOC and National Olympic Academy.
