Hong Kong, China, February 8, 2023: Hong Kong cricket fans are in for a treat this weekend, with two games from the Women’s All Stars Series and the grand final of the CHK Gencor Premier League One Day Series all set to take place on Sunday, February 12.
All three games will be live streamed on CHK’s Facebook page, Cricfit YouTube, and on FanCode in India.
The Bauhinia Stars dominated the first Women’s All Stars T20 fixture back in October, on the back of captain Kary Chan’s 122, so the Jade Jets, led by Betty Chan, will be looking to bounce back strong this Sunday. The two back-to-back T20s are scheduled to start at 9.30am and 1.30pm at Tin Kwong Road.
These two Women’s All Stars Series matches are just the start of what could be a historic year for women’s cricket in Hong Kong, with the FairBreak Invitational T20 scheduled to be held here in April, and the first ever Women’s Premier League set to be launched by the Board of Control for Cricket in India late next month. Ten Hong Kong players have registered for the player auction, under the Associate Player category, for the five-team tournament.
This Sunday also sees the grand final of the 2022-23 CHK Gencor Men’s Premier League One Day finals at Hong Kong Cricket Club between HKCC and PACC.
